Meet Our Optometrist: Dr. Ryan Yee, O.D.

Dr. Ryan Yee
Optometrist
Dr. Yee was born in Toronto and raised in Markham. He earned his Bachelor of Science at the University of Waterloo. He then went on to earn his Doctors of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. During his time at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry Dr. Yee developed a strong interest in ocular diseases and speciality contact lenses. His externships allowed Dr. Yee to work directly with ophthalmologists, where he gained extensive experience in managing a variety of ocular disease, including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and eye infections.
As a dedicated optometrist serving the Richmond Hill and Markham communities he grew up in, Dr. Yee is passionate in all aspects of Optometry and has a special interest in scleral lenses and myopia control. He enjoys fitting orthokeratology lenses and is committed to providing excellent patient care. He enjoys spending his free time hiking, trying new foods and playing board games.
Dr. Yee is fluent in English, Cantonese and Spanish.
